  • Day 01: Arusha – Tarangire National Park (Game Drive & Overnight)
Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from Arusha or the airport, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers a gentle yet exciting introduction to Tanzania’s wilderness. Upon arrival, your game drive begins, with chances to spot elephants moving in large families, giraffes browsing acacia trees, and zebras and wildebeest grazing across the plains. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife year-round, making it an excellent location for sightings, including predators such as lions and leopards. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site within the park, surrounded by nature. In the afternoon, continue exploring different sections of the park, taking in its diverse landscapes and rich wildlife. As the day concludes, exit the park and proceed to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight, relaxing in comfort after your first day on safari.
  • Day 02: Karatu – Serengeti National Park (En Route Game Drive)
After breakfast, depart Karatu and journey toward Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes you through the lush highlands before opening into the vast Serengeti plains. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views and optional stops for photos at scenic viewpoints. Upon entering the Serengeti, your game drive begins immediately. The park is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. The landscape shifts from open plains to rocky kopjes, where predators often rest and observe their surroundings. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, allowing you to stay immersed in the wilderness. In the afternoon, continue your game drive as you head toward your lodge or camp. Arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the sounds of the African wild.
  • Day 03: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, set out for a full day of exploration in the Serengeti. The early morning hours provide the best opportunity to witness predators in action, as lions, leopards, and cheetahs are most active during this time. Watching the sunrise over the endless plains is an unforgettable highlight of the safari experience. Spend the day exploring different regions of the park, following wildlife movements and discovering diverse habitats. You may encounter elephants roaming freely, giraffes stretching high into acacia trees, and hyenas scavenging across the plains. Depending on the season, you may also witness the Great Migration, one of the most spectacular wildlife events on Earth. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic location, then continue your game drive into the afternoon. Return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight, reflecting on a day filled with remarkable wildlife encounters.
  • Day 04: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Mto wa Mbu (Overnight)
After breakfast, depart Serengeti with a morning game drive en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Take in your final views of the plains as you ascend into the highlands. Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. The crater floor is home to a dense population of animals, offering excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five, including the rare black rhino. The diverse ecosystems—grasslands, swamps, and soda lakes—support a wide range of species, including hippos and flamingos. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and continue to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight, enjoying a peaceful setting at the edge of the Rift Valley.
  • Day 05: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha (End of Safari)
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for your final game drive. This lush park is known for its diverse habitats, including groundwater forests, open plains, and the alkaline lake itself. Keep an eye out for tree-climbing lions, elephants, baboons, and a variety of birdlife, including flamingos along the lake shore. Enjoy a relaxed game drive through the park, taking in its unique scenery and wildlife. Around midday, you may enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing your exploration. In the afternoon, exit the park and begin your return journey to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable 5-day safari adventure.
