Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or the airport, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. The journey takes you through local villages and open plains, setting the tone for your wildlife adventure. Upon arrival, you will start your game drive, exploring the park’s diverse habitats dominated by ancient baobab trees and the Tarangire River. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, often seen gathering along the river, alongside giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and buffalo. With a bit of luck, you may also spot lions resting under acacia trees or stalking prey. Around midday, you will enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site within the park, surrounded by nature. Around midday, you will stop for a picnic lunch near a scenic hippo pool, surrounded by breathtaking views of the crater walls. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha.
