Upon entry, your game drive begins immediately, offering chances to spot elephants gathering along the Tarangire River, along with giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and buffalo. Predators such as lions and leopards may also be seen resting in the shade or quietly stalking prey. Around midday, you will stop at a designated picnic site within the park to enjoy your lunch surrounded by nature. Afterward, continue with an afternoon game drive, exploring different sections of the park and capturing unforgettable wildlife moments. Day 02: Karatu – Serengeti National Park (En Route Game Drive)
After breakfast, depart from Karatu and journey toward Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive is scenic and diverse, taking you through lush highlands before opening into the vast plains that define the Serengeti. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views and optional stops at viewpoints for photos. Upon entering the Serengeti, your game drive begins as you traverse the endless savannah. Wildlife is abundant, with opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. The changing landscapes—from grassy plains to rocky kopjes—create a dynamic safari experience. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, allowing you to remain immersed in the wilderness. In the afternoon, continue with your game drive as you make your way toward your lodge or camp. Arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the sounds of the African wild. -
Day 03: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Begin your day with an early breakfast before heading out for a full day of exploration in the Serengeti. The early morning hours are ideal for spotting predators in action, as lions, leopards, and cheetahs are most active during this time. As the sun rises, the plains come alive with wildlife activity, offering incredible photographic opportunities. Spend the day discovering different regions of the park, following wildlife movements and exploring a variety of habitats. You may encounter elephants roaming the plains, giraffes browsing acacia trees, and hyenas scavenging nearby. Depending on the season, you might also witness the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras move across the landscape in search of fresh grazing. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic location, then continue your game drive into the afternoon. As the day winds down, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight, reflecting on a day filled with extraordinary wildlife encounters. -
Day 04: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha (End of Safari)
After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti with a morning game drive en route toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Take in your final views of the plains as you ascend into the highlands. Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. The crater floor is home to a dense population of animals, providing excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five, including the rare black rhino. As you explore the diverse landscapes—grasslands, swamps, and soda lakes—you will encounter a wide range of wildlife, including hippos, flamingos, and large herds of grazing animals. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
